Intern With the TLPI Team!

The Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) offers a wide range of exceptional training, technical assistance, and resource services throughout the country. Our unpaid internship programs lend invaluable assistance to our many Projects and Services at our different office locations and in collaboration with our staff in satellite offices. In return, we strive to provide meaningful work experiences that match the interests and capabilities of our interns. TLPI has an exceptional record of working with our interns in their efforts to secure school credit and outside funding to support their work with TLPI. In addition, our team is committed to providing a flexible, challenging, and meaningful work experience that will expand your professional network and enhance the skills needed for academic and professional development.

TLPI is also expanding our post-grad legal fellowship program. While we do not provide funding for legal fellows, we are open to hosting eligible fellows with outside funding and--in certain cases--are willing to assist with fellowship funding proposals.

TLPI often works on cutting edge legal issues that impact Indian country. As such, we are proud to offer our legal clerks  meaningful legal experience while expanding their Indian law network. Visit the Legal Internships page for more information.

TLPI provides wonderful and varied internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in serving Indian country. Visit our Internships page for more information.

**TLPI is an equal opportunity employer.

TLPI is open to hosting eligible fellows with their own outside funding and--in certain cases--are willing to assist with fellowship funding proposals. TLPI is unable to fund Legal Fellows at this time.
